For a limited time, Sabayon welcomes MICHELIN-starred Chef Charles Coulombeau for an exclusive culinary showcase. Celebrated for his work at La Maison dans le Parc and Yozora, Chef Charles brings his signature French-Japanese artistry to Kuala Lumpur for a truly elegant and memorable dining experience.

His bespoke menu for the award-winning Sabayon masterfully balances French foundations with Japanese influence. The progression begins with the Avocado, Sake, Pear, setting a clean and direct tone for the afternoon or evening ahead. From there, the Hamachi, Cucumber, Coriander highlight a stronger Japanese influence, harmonising freshness in an homage to the best of nature. As the experience deepens, the Scallops, Carrots, Nori introduces a layered contrast of flavor and texture. The menu then transitions to the Duck, Blackberries, Sushi Rice, where richness is perfectly balanced by brighter, tart notes. The journey concludes with the Nougat, Bergamot of Nancy, a refined dessert with a light citrus edge that pays tribute to his French roots.

47in27 is a 27-month culinary journey where Kampachi, IPPUDO, MAiSEN, Sky51, Sabayon, EQ, and Equatorial come together to explore Japan’s 47 prefectures through evolving culinary experiences. Each season introduces a different region of Japan, bringing its prefectures to life through seasonal inspirations across the journey.

At Sabayon, seasonal ingredients are reimagined through refined rooftop dining, while Sky51 complements the journey with crafted cocktails, music, and sweeping views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. At Étoile, artisanal pastries and Japanese-inspired creations reflect the elegance of the season.

Experience the art of discovery as a Boijā, a true voyager in search of regional treasures and authentic culinary stories. Eight Milestone Plushies are available as companions during this 27-month journey, with each piece capturing the spirit of a different chapter. Guests are invited to join the experience at Sabayon, Étoile, Kampachi EQ, Kampachi Pavilion KL, and Kampachi Plaza33, alongside IPPUDO | MAiSEN Bangsar Shopping Centre & The Gardens Mall.

How to Participate:

• Collect exclusive Prefecture Pins with RM100 spend on the selected participating prefecture menu items
• Redeem a complimentary limited-edition Milestone Plushie with 4 Prefecture Pins collected
• The Ultimate Voyager: The top collector who acquires all eight seasonal plushies and the highest number of pins will be rewarded an airline ticket, exclusive room and dining experiences, along with more specially curated rewards to be unveiled throughout the journey.
• The Boijā Milestone Plushie Collector: Guests who collect the full collection of eight seasonal plushies through purchase will receive a RM200 dining voucher valid across participating outlets.

Terms & Conditions:

• Pins are issued on a per-transaction basis for same-day visits and cannot be earned through the accumulation of multiple dining sessions.
• Pins will not be available for sale during and after the particular season. Pins can only be redeemed via dine-in.
• Each pin is exclusive to its respective regional window. All prefecture menus within a region will be available for a three-month period before transitioning to the next region.
• For spending below RM100, guests may top up with additional items from the same prefecture menu. Regular menu items are not eligible.
• For dishes featuring multiple prefectures, guests are required to spend a minimum of RM100 per featured prefecture in order to receive the corresponding number of Prefecture Pins.
• To redeem a plushie, guests must present their Prefecture Card with four completed stamps and redemption can be made at any participating outlet within the particular season.
• The Seasonal Milestone Plushie is a coveted collectible available for direct purchase at any participating outlet for RM68 after the season, subject to remaining stock following the redemption process.
• All collectibles and redemptions are available while stocks last.
