FMCO ANNOUNCEMENT

In line with the Malaysian Government’s announcement of the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO), we are accepting room reservations with modified operating hours for our facilities. Any bookings you make will have extra flexibility with no cancellation fee and free change of date up to 24 hours prior to arrival. This is not applicable for non-refundable reservations. For enquiries, please contact our Room Reservations team at reservations@kul.equatorial.com.

Our restaurants continue to serve our community with the modified operating hours permissible during this period.

Nipah
Available only for takeaway, delivery and drive-through from 11AM – 10PM

Étoile Bistro
Available only for takeaway and delivery from 7AM – 9PM

Kampachi
Available only for takeaway and delivery from 12PM – 9PM

Bottega Lounge, Sabayon and Blue
Sanctum Wellness

 

We will continue to do our part in remaining vigilant and steadfast in our commitment to provide every guest with the highest standard of safety and hygiene. Mandatory health and safety measures including temperature screening, hand sanitising, increased sanitation and disinfection of all surfaces is implemented along with social distancing throughout the building.

THE ORIGINS OF THE DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL AKA “RICE DUMPLING SEASON”

Buro 24/7 – The Dragon Boat Festival (or Duanwu Festival) is widely celebrated by Chinese all over the globe. The festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth month on the lunar calendar, which is 14 June this year. In China, people will use this three-day holiday to travel to popular destinations around the country. With travel restrictions set in place, it looks like the festival will continue to look a little different this year.

This year, EQ is offering six different rice dumplings made with delicious pairings. Chef Tan Tzaan Ling recommends the Traditional Hakka Style Rice Dumpling, which is filled with chicken, salted egg yolk, mushrooms, black-eyed beans, and scallops. Prices of the dumplings range from RM32 to RM71.
