EQ’s Étoile Bistro has teamed up with Los Angeles-based meat substitute brand Beyond Burger to launch the 100 per cent vegan, plant-based Étoile Beyond Burger, with no soy or gluten. Reflecting the name Étoile—which means “star” in French—the burger features star-shaped buns and a plant-based patty topped with crisp lettuce and tomatoes. Optional add-ons include hand-cut fries, avocados, portobello mushrooms and salsa.

Malaysian Foodie – A flavourful surprise awaits those who try out Étoile Bistro’s latest introduction, the Étoile Beyond Burger®, launching on 3 June 2021. This plant-based meatless burger is a collaboration with the Los Angeles-based meat substitute brand Beyond Meat® and is a fresh take to the Malaysian food scene, propelling EQ and the food & beverage industry into a more health conscious and sustainable outlook.

The French word Étoile means “star” and so this newest addition to the menu honours that with starshaped buns. The juicy meatless patty is topped with crisp lettuce and tomatoes. It will be available at 11.30AM daily for takeaway and delivery and is priced at RM42. Hand-cut fries, avocados, portobello mushrooms and salsa are available as add-ons. The patty is 100% vegan and plant-based with no soy or gluten and contains 35% less saturated fat than a 113g patty of 80/20 ground beef.
