EQUATORIAL PLAZA ACHIEVES GBI GOLD CERTIFICATION
The Edge Markets – Equatorial Plaza has received the Green Building Index (GBI) Gold certification, according to a press release on Feb 3. The 52-storey building comprises Grade A office spaces as well as the 5-star EQ Kuala Lumpur hotel.

Southeast Asia Building – The Green Building Index (GBI) Gold certification of Equatorial Plaza makes EQ the first Kuala Lumpur hotel to receive this notable recognition. Assessment by GBI consists of six criteria: Energy Efficiency, Indoor Environmental Quality, Sustainable Site Planning & Management, Materials & Resources, Water Efficiency, and Innovation. As part of our forward-thinking sustainability efforts we now also provide both Tesla and Universal ev charging in KLCC.
